The GI-MAP2024-08-07T11:28:16-07:00

The GI-MAP (Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay Plus) test, offered by Diagnostic Solutions Laboratory, is a comprehensive stool test designed to assess the microbiome and detect gastrointestinal pathogens.

Did you know that only 40% of those with gut issues do not have any symptoms but rather have weight challenges, high cholesterol, high blood sugar or even an autoimmune issue.

Utilizing advanced DNA sequencing technology, the GI-MAP provides detailed insights into the presence and levels of gut bacteria, viruses, parasites, and fungi, allowing for targeted interventions to restore gut health and hence overall health.

This test also offers a comprehensive assessment of gastrointestinal function, to aid in assessment and management of various digestive disorders including irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), and gastrointestinal infections.

This test can be a gamechanger for knowing if there are things that need addressing in your microbiome to assist with digestion leading to improvements in health and well-being.

OAT (Organic Acid Test)2024-08-13T15:41:46-07:00

Mosaic Diagnostics (formerly Great Plains Lab) Organic Acids Test (OAT) is a simple and efficient way to assess several metabolic pathways providing insight into imbalances and nutrient needs. This OAT assesses 76 organic acids in a single, easy-to-collect urine sample, offering valuable insights for individuals facing complex chronic conditions.

People with chronic illnesses and neurological disorders usually excrete several abnormal organic acids in their urine. Several causes can drive these high levels, including oral antibiotic use, high sugar diets, infections, and genetic factors.

Metabolic processes in the body produce organic acids from the digestion of protein, carbohydrates, and fat. These acids generate cellular energy and provide many fundamental pieces necessary for cell function.

Organic acids are, therefore, chemical compounds products of metabolism excreted in the urine. Vitamins and minerals are required for the correct functioning of the enzymes responsible for metabolizing organic acids.

An increase in organic acids in the urine can reflect a need for these nutrients on a cellular and biochemical level, even when a serum analysis reflects normal results.

The results of the test can help with recommendations for individualized nutrient supplementation to assist with acute or chronic illness as well as giving insight into anxiety, depression, digestive disorders, fatigue, diabetes, intestinal microflora imbalances, mitochondrial markers and indicators of detoxification.

Mycotox Panel2024-08-07T11:29:04-07:00

The Mycotox panel from Mosaic Diagnostics is a specialized diagnostic tool designed to detect and quantify exposure to mycotoxins, which are toxic metabolites produced by molds. This urine-based assay is significant due to its focus on a wide range of mycotoxins, specifically targeting 40 species of mold across 11 different mycotoxins.

The test is particularly relevant for individuals who are likely to be exposed to mycotoxins. This includes people working or living in older buildings, those with compromised immune systems or higher levels of oxidative stress, and individuals with known exposure to water-damaged buildings. These environments are prone to mold growth and can lead to significant mycotoxin exposure.

If mycotoxins are found in the urine, a protocol will be developed to bind and detox the mold in a methodical way to restore health.

Glyphosate Test2024-08-09T10:01:11-07:00

The Glyphosate test measures glyphosate levels in urine. Glyphosate is the world’s most widely produced herbicide and is the primary toxic chemical in Roundup™, as well as in many other herbicides. In addition, it is a broad-spectrum herbicide used in more than 700 different products, from agriculture and forestry to home use.

The 3X4 Genetics Test + Blueprint Report2024-08-09T10:02:23-07:00

The 3X4 Genetics test is a comprehensive genetic analysis tool that delves into 36 pathways important in human health. By examining over 134 genes from a simple cheek swab, this test provides personalized insights into nutrition, fitness, illness prevention, weight management, stress reduction and health optimization strategies, and more.

This genetics test can help tailor your unique health history, lifestyle goals and specific current and future health concerns. It takes the guessing out of whether you have inherited a specific gene from your parents or not.

This test can help you to gain a deeper understanding of how your genetics influence your health, thus enabling you to take proactive measures to prevent illness, delay disease onset, and optimize overall well-being.

TOXDetect Panel2026-06-27T12:17:30-07:00

Our daily lives expose us to hundreds of toxic chemicals from food, water, household products, personal care products, plastics, and air pollution. Exposure to these environmental toxicants wreak havoc on normal metabolic processes that lead to immune dysfunction, neurological disorders, endocrine disruption, certain types of cancer, and beyond.

The TOXDetect Panel from Mosaic DX  is designed to pinpoint your environmental toxicant exposure measuring 27 different toxicants. We design a roadmap for how to bind and eliminate these toxins from your system after testing.

P88 – DIY Antigen Test2024-08-07T14:30:40-07:00

Precision Point Diagnostics’ P88-DIY Dietary Antigen Test analyzes IgE, IgG, IgG4, and complement (C3d) reactions to 88 foods. It helps identify and address food allergies and food sensitivities in anyone experiencing gut or inflammatory challenges or chronic illnesses. Unlike traditional finger stick tests, the P88-DIY has a validated, specific, pain-free process, making this test simple for everyone, even small children.

DUTCH Test2024-08-07T14:30:52-07:00

The DUTCH (Dried Urine Test for Comprehensive Hormones) Complete test is an advanced diagnostic tool used to evaluate hormone levels. This test is unique because it uses dried urine samples to measure various hormones and their metabolites.

The DUTCH Complete test measures a range of hormones such as cortisol, cortisone, estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone. This comprehensive approach provides a more complete picture of a person’s hormonal balance compared to traditional blood tests.

The test also includes measurement of circadian rhythms and natural patterns of cortisol and cortisone to address adrenal function.   It measures breakdown of hormones to give insight into how hormones are being processed by the body.

It can be helpful to addressing menstrual irregularities, fertility challenges, symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause, thyroid and sleep disorders.
