Measuring Health and Longevity with MVX Plus Testing

Did you know that a test now exists that gives you a score of six important physiological factors driving chronic disease and early death.

Translation – this test can predict your longevity, what things are a problem for your health and need attention.

Testing has become more cost effective as this test has a cost of $35 and is tested through Lab Corp. I heard about this groundbreaking blood test at a conference I attended in May 2025.  MVX Plus testing quantifies six physiological factors that drive disease. Unlike standard lab panels that only detect disease, MVX identifies causes of poor health before symptoms appear as it identifies causes of underlying metabolic dysfunction.

What causes chronic illness? Infections, inflammation, toxins and malnutrition are the major drivers.

These four things can lead to heart disease, diabetes, cancer, dementia and autoimmune disease.

It gives you a score from 1 to 100 and the lower the number the better. Test results can change within weeks since it identifies and provides insight into these four drivers – infections, inflammation, toxins and malnutrition – all things affecting mitochondrial dysfunction which can be changed if you know about them.

This test empowers you to measure, guide, and track your health with scientific precision, making it the foundation of true healing.

If you want the breakdown, the MVX tests the following 9 indices:

  1. Metabolic Vulnerability Index – the total score from 0-100
  2. Inflammation Vulnerability – a number that comes from GlyA and small HDL particle number (see below)
  3. Metabolic Malnutrition Index – a number that comes from the citrate, valine, leucine and isoleucine below. It is indicative of the most important macronutrient status in the body which is protein and the most important micronutrient which is vitamin B1.
  4. GlycA – marker indicative of inflammation and/or infection
  5. Small HDL particle number – marker which tests for toxins
  6. Citrate – marker which tests for mitochondrial function
  7. Leucine
  8. Isoleucine
  9. Valine

(These 3 Branch Chain Amino Acids (7-9) above test for malnutrition and absorption of nutrients)

This test requires a trained practitioner who can interpret and provide a roadmap to make changes in your numbers. As far as I know your practitioner can order this testing via Professional Coop and I can order it as well since licensed dietitians can order blood work.

Since it is so inexpensive you could have this testing a few times a year to keep the pulse on your overall health and get ahead of the curve if something is amiss.  With MVX Plus we no longer need to just hope for the best with our health but take control, test and make adjustments to increase longevity and health!
