Jannell's Story
My name is Jannell and I am 52 years old. I am happily married, with 3 sons and 1 grandson. I own a Bead Store named Gioielli and an online webstore, www.specialtybeads.com. I live in Truckee, a small mountain town. My favorite thing is to spend time with my family and friends. I also love to be out in nature kayaking, hiking, or just enjoying the outdoors. I work a lot of hours because I own my own business.
I like to work, but I feel it definitely takes its toll on my living a healthy lifestyle. I feel like I always struggle with my weight, but I am fortunate that it is about 10 pounds that I am always struggling to loose. I don’t see myself as a healthy eater and I’d like to improve this. I think habits are hard to change, so my goal is to take one or two things I want to change for my health at a time and improve on them. I want to make life long changes that I can live with. I have grown up with most of the Recipe for Friendship women and feel very fortunate to have had them for my lifelong friends and support system. I look forward to us all sharing this new adventure together.
